src=\"https:\/\/widget.deezer.com\/widget\/light\/playlist\/14057201181\" width=\"100%\" height=\"300\" frameborder=\"0\" allowtransparency=\"true\" allow=\"encrypted-media; clipboard-write\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Deezer versus AI<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>We chose to share our playlist <strong>via the Deezer platform<\/strong> to support their recent positions and actions regarding AI-generated music (as opposed to Spotify, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.franceinfo.fr\/internet\/streaming\/spotify\/porosite-avec-donald-trump-mise-en-avant-de-faux-artistes-faibles-remunerations-spotify-affronte-une-pluie-de-fausses-notes_7041449.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">which has clearly gone over to the dark side<\/a>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Indeed, in addition to <a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom-deezer.com\/fr\/2025\/01\/deezer-deploie-un-outil-de-pointe-dans-la-detection-de-musique-generee-par-ia-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">rolling out a cutting-edge tool to detect and flag AI-generated content<\/a> \u00ab\u00a0in order to increase transparency for users and protect creators' rights\u00a0\u00bb, Deezer launched <a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom-deezer.com\/fr\/2025\/06\/deezer-premier-systeme-etiquetage-ia-streaming-musical\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">the world's first labeling system<\/a> in June 2025 to identify albums containing AI-generated tracks.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Deezer revealed in April 2025 that <a href=\"https:\/\/newsroom-deezer.com\/fr\/2025\/04\/deezer-revele-que-18-des-nouvelles-musiques-publiees-generes-par-ia\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">18% of music uploaded every day<\/a> \u2013 over 20,000 tracks \u2013 is entirely generated by artificial intelligence models (compared to 10% in January 2025).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To counter this phenomenon, the music streaming service has decided to take action with the following measures: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>AI-created tracks will be&nbsp;<strong>clearly identified<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>They will&nbsp;<strong>not be included in editorial playlists<\/strong>&nbsp;or personalized recommendations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fraudulent streams<strong> will no longer be monetized.<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The Spotify exodus<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Some artists, <a href=\"https:\/\/pitchfork.com\/news\/king-gizzard-and-the-lizard-wizard-leave-spotify\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">like the excellent Australian band <em>King Gizzard &amp; the Lizard Wizard<\/em><\/a> (which you'll of course find in <a href=\"https:\/\/link.deezer.com\/s\/31szyWyervGXRN4Zr206B\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">the Rorqual playlist<\/a>), are abandoning ship in protest against the platform's recent choices, both regarding AI-generated content issues and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.radiofrance.fr\/franceculture\/podcasts\/un-monde-connecte\/qui-est-daniel-ek-de-spotify-a-l-industrie-militaire-en-passant-par-la-fast-medecine-8303686\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" title=\"\">the company's questionable funding<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And finally, don't forget to favor services like <strong>Bandcamp<\/strong> and <strong>Soundcloud<\/strong> to support independent artists. <em>King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard<\/em> released a <a href=\"https:\/\/bootleggizzard.bandcamp.com\/album\/demos-vol-7-vol-8\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"
